About Rui Martins
Rui Martins, founder of the Vizinhos em Lisboa (vLx) association and coordinator of the Vizinhos do Areeiro branch, is also the mentor of CpC – Cidadãos pela Cibersegurança (Citizens for Cybersecurity). His career is marked by strong civic engagement and the promotion of active citizenship and digital security within the community.
In his professional capacity, he performs the role of IT Operations Leader at a digital marketing company, combining technological management with communication strategy. His analytical and opinion-forming side is reinforced by regular collaboration as a columnist in various prominent media outlets, namely the Observer, Public, Frog, Artery and Message from Lisbon.
