AeroPress Championship Portugal 2025

WHITE _HOST MARK MONO

The Lisbon Coffee Week 2025 AeroPress Championship is a celebration of creativity and precision in the world of filter coffee in one of the most relaxed and chaotic formats in the world of competitions.

With 27 participants vying for the title of national champion, this event follows the original format of the World AeroPress Championship: rounds of three competitors, with only one going through to the next stage. Each participant has 5 minutes to grind, prepare and serve their recipe, using 18g of coffee and only the AeroPress, filter, water and a grinder. The official coffee is the same for everyone and will be provided in advance for testing.

The pressure builds as we go along... The judges taste blindly and simultaneously point to the winning cup of each round. No explanations, no justifications. Just flavour.

Throughout the afternoon, Buraca Roasters is transformed into a real brewing stage with lots of good people, drinks and DJs warming up the atmosphere. Come and cheer on your favourites, learn some unlikely recipes and find out who will be representing Portugal at the 2025 AeroPress World Cup.

The Championship takes place on 25 May at Buraca Roasters in Lisbon.
