About Rivane Ferreira
With over two decades dedicated to the study of tea, Rivane Ferreira began her journey in the United States, where she first encountered Chinese tradition. What started as a daily practice evolved into a deep dedication to Tea Ceremony The Way of Tea, integrating technique, Eastern philosophy, and contemplative practices.
An educator by calling, she consolidated her knowledge through practical experience and training with leading masters, specialising in Chinese teas, sensory analysis and traditional methods such as Gong Fu Cha. Its approach positions tea as a cultural language and an instrument of sensory refinement and the practice of presence.
Is co-creator of Stillness Club – Tea & Books, a project that merges tea with literature as a contemporary cultural practice. In parallel, as a textile artist and natural pigment researcher, she explores tea as an aesthetic medium and symbolic expression. In her talks and ceremonies, she shares tea not just as a drink, but as a profound experience of encounter and listening.
